Every summer, on the last Saturday before Frome Festival, a group of intrepid local writers try their luck at our annual Frome Writers in Residence Competition.
Participants collect a writing prompt and have 3 hours to write a story, in or outside one of Frome’s shops or cafes.  Volunteers support with refreshments and encouragement!

It’s free to enter and a lot of fun. Anyone over 18, including complete beginners, free to enter.
