A big thank you to all who supported Writers in Residence in local shops and cafés.

This year’s winner of the Alan Somerville Award is Sarah Deacon (pictured below), with the second place shared between Caroline Mair and Gill Fletcher, while Suneith’s story was highly commended by the judges. All participants were praised for the quality of their stories. Many congratulations to all!

More thanks to the many readers and writers who supported this year’s Frome Small Publishers’ Fair.

And very many thanks to all who took part in our Flash Fiction event this year @ The ECOS Stones.

Special congratulations to the winner, highly commended and commended writers of the Young Short Story Award and to the Frome Festival Internationals Short Story Award winners.

Congratultions, too, to all participants. This year saw a superb collection of stories. What a lot of literary talent on offer!
